Selected by the National Post as one of Canada’s best family-law lawyers, Brenda has a special interest in cases relating to child and spousal support. Brenda is a founding partner of Wilson Christen LLP, and serves as the firm’s Managing Partner.
Brenda has acted on leading cases relating to mobility, support, income and property at both the trial and appellate levels. She recently secured the highest child support award in the country.
Brenda has lectured before the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Ontario Bar Association, as well as private groups. She taught at the Law Society of Upper Canada's Bar Admission course in the area of the Family Law for approximately 10 years.
Brenda graduated from the Dalhousie University Law School in 1985 and was called to the Bar in 1987.
Brenda has expanded her practice to include acting as a mediator in matrimonial and other disputes.
