Chelsea engages in a client-focused approach to the practice of family law and has experience in all areas, including custody and access matters, property settlements, support, jurisdictional issues, Hague Convention proceedings and child protection matters.


Chelsea was called to the bar in 2009 after obtaining her LL.B. from the University of Western Ontario and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University. Chelsea is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Advocates Society. While at law school, Chelsea participated in the Family Law Project at the London Superior Court of Justice and volunteered with the Pro Bono Society. In her final year, Chelsea was awarded the CCH Canadian Limited Prize for the student with the highest standing in Advanced Family Law.


Chelsea has presented on family law issues for the Ontario Bar Association, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts as well as private organizations.


Chelsea has successfully argued a variety of complex cases at the Superior Court and Court of Appeal in Ontario in areas such recovering legal costs, child custody in Canada and internationally, child support, sole custody and primary residence, and the correct appellate route for appeals from a Family Court Decision.
