Erica Tait has a broad family law practice with experience in all matters of divorce and separation, including division of property, child and spousal support, custody and access, litigation and alternate dispute resolution/mediation. Erica is solution-oriented and favours a practical approach to resolving disputes.


Prior to joining Wilson Christen LLP in May 2013, Erica practiced litigation at a multinational Bay Street firm. While there, she gained valuable experience in litigating complex corporate/commercial disputes, such as shareholder and director/officer disputes, accountant and auditor’s negligence, and contract disputes involving sophisticated clients. Erica regularly applies this knowledge and experience to her family law practice.


Erica has appeared before all levels of court and court of appeal in Ontario as well as the Court of Queen's Bench for Alberta and the Nova Scotia Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.


Erica graduated from Dalhousie University Law School in 2007 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2008. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association and The Advocates’ Society.
