Jeffery's career began with the writing of Canada's leading text on children's law, and the creation of the state-funded clinic, Justice for Children and Youth. Following years of case work, many in unchallenged areas of family law, he received the distinguished "Award of Justice" from The Advocacy Society.
Jeffery now devotes his career time to teaching, writing, and acting as counsel within and outside of the firm on the more complex family and children's law cases. He is also lead counsel to the First Nations' pioneer class action law suit on the 60's Scoop.
