Neesha Rao is an associate lawyer at Wilson Christen LLP who provides honest and informed advice at every stage of a legal proceeding, with an emphasis on sound options for resolution.


Neesha is a graduate of the joint B.C.L./LL.B. program at the McGill Faculty of Law. With this combined civil law and common law training, Neesha offers a global perspective on family law matters that serves clients of all backgrounds. While at McGill, Neesha worked with Professor Angela Campbell on a research project for the National Judicial Institute concerning judicial interviews of children in family law disputes. Neesha shares the NJI’s commitment to the role of lifelong learning in fostering judicial excellence.


Prior to law school, Neesha earned an AB degree from Harvard University and worked at a think tank in Washington, DC on projects to increase access to health care for low-income children and their families. Neesha is currently on the Board of Directors at the HIV and AIDS Legal Clinic Ontario (HALCO).


As an associate at Wilson Christen, Neesha guides clients toward efficient and constructive solutions that emphasize fairness, compassion and an accurate understanding of what is realistically possible under the law.
